My sweet Gabi left me 4 months ago, very tragic and sudden. But there's so much more to my amazing girls life than just her passing away. Her donation decision was easy for me as I know how Gabi lived her life. At such a young age, she had many things very well figured out well and fighting for every cause and every underdog and encouraging every person she met was how my girl lived. We had spoken of donation and of her finalbwishes for an eternal reef so I am determined to honor her with the rest of my breaths, untilbI hold her in my arms again in Heaven.
Gabi loved animals and rode horses for equestrian therapy for years. She fostered kittens thru KCPP and became a big foster sister 2 years ago too. She's bright as well as beautiful and her gidmftedvclass won the battle of the brains STEM competition at Science City. She's a trumpet player for 3 years and joined the marching band in high school this year as well as being a competitive swimmer. Sweet, sassy. Spunky. Opinionated, outspoken, kind, gorgeous. Determined. Compassionate and funny. Thus girl has been destined to cha ge the world since before she even arrived.
Gabi struggled with Tourette's syndrome and ocd and resulted in some mental health struggles as well. All of which she was a great advocate for others in education and understanding.
She continues to be memorialized and remembered by her community for her giving caring helpful spirit and desperately missed and loved by her mother and family and friends.
A foundation seems to be building since she left and "Gabi's light" seems to be taking on a life of its own. We hope to help other damages and prevent other such tragedies, continue to keep her memory alive and make the world a better place in her honor. We love you sweetheart.
