At 23 years young, one month to the day of graduating from Temple University, Eric died from a car accident as he had fallen asleep behind the wheel. Eric chose to be an organ donor when he obtained his drivers license at age 16. When speaking with Eric about his graduation and future plans, he told me he felt he was going to go places and do great things. I never knew it would be through organ, bone and tissue donation. His donations spanned over 23 States – making his statement true. My son is a hero!
