Deborah Atwell was a very kind and compassionate. A beloved mother of two and loving wife to her husband of 43 years. She spent her life caring for others in the field of nursing for more than 30 years. Deborah became a grandmother in 2012 and again in 2018. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed being a grandma more than anything else. Deborah was very active and enjoyed spending time outdoors. It would not be unusual to find her at the gym in the early morning hours or walking her dog in the national forest regardless of the weather. Deborah was diagnosed with a large brain aneurysm on August 10, 2020. The aneurysm ruptured on August 14, 2020. Deborah passed away and was able to touch the lives of 4 organ recipients and countless others through tissue donation.
