Dave suffered a stroke from which he could not recover and died in 2019. He wasn’t just my husband but he was my best friend and soul mate for 43 years. He was the best dad to our 3 children and an awesome grandpa to 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dave was an elected official for close to 40 years having served as Township Trustee and County Commissioner and he loved making his community a better place to live. Dave loved to mow grass and had the best looking yard in town. He was a big Mustang man and owned 2. In his younger days he loved to ride motorcycles and he built one which we still have and was left to our oldest son. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and OSU Buckeye fan.
It has been 18 months since we lost him and he is still missed every single day. It doesn’t get easier, you just learn to live with it.
