Chuck had an aneurysm rupture in 2016. It caused him to fall into a coma.

Family and friends all surrounded him, praying for any sign of life but after four days, we were advised that it was time to make some difficult decisions.

Since Chuck had always been a firm believer in donating your organs, we decided that it was the right thing to do. So the decision was made to remove him from life support, to save others.

With his donation, Chuck gave both kidneys and his liver along with heart valves and other tissue. He gave the gift of life.

I miss him so much, the loss seems so unbearable at times. But knowing that others are keeping him alive, allowing a part of him to be here, warms my heart.

He was, is and always will be my everything.
