Christi was a delightful child growing up. She grew into a fine young woman with aspirations of helping others, so the medical field seemed the perfect fit for her. Christi was a remarkable mother to her son Lucas. He was her whole life. Lucas will be starting college this fall and he will be entering the medical field as well. This year we started the first annual Christina D. Gayheart Memorial Scholarship Fund to help someone else achieve their goals while preserving her memory. I miss her everyday and my heart is still empty from her loss. We love her very much!
