Kate always made it a point to make sure everyone considered being an organ donor, she also gave blood to the red cross on a regular basis. In the end she gave the gift of sight and several other life saving/changing organs to people.
She was a beloved mother and wife who enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, camping and really any vacation or activity with her family and friends.
