What can I say? He was my little brother. My best friend but sometimes my worst enemy. My confidant and a big tattletale. My tormenter and my white knight. We found out that Bill had stage 4 lung cancer that had metastasized throughout his body and brain. We only had 6 short weeks to try to fit in a lifetime of memories and regrets and apologies but mostly our love. Bill had never married and we had lost our mom only 2 years before and our dad when we were very young. He loved my boys and shared so much with them as well as some of that torturing. We shared so much those last weeks as we took drives to many of our childhood and teenage memory places. I miss him so much but was honored to be able to fulfill his wish of being a donor.
