Avery was the kindest, bravest young man. He was a sports enthusiast, athlete, great student, a hard worker, a one-of-kind human that didn’t complain much and always had a smile on his face. He loved his family, work, animals, his friends, video games and traveling. Avery was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation at the age of 2, but he never let it hold him back. He lived life to the fullest each and every day. Avery died suddenly at the age of 17, from what we believe to have been a brain event, possible from Chiari, that lead to cardiac arrest.
Avery decided to be an organ donor when he got his license, and his dad and I honored his wishes.
He is our hero and a hero to so many others.
The loss of our precious Avery has left a huge void. We miss him every single second of the day.
