Ashley Julaine passed suddenly from an asthma attack at the tender age of 40. Ashley was my daughter, my best friend, a loving mother to her teen son and beautiful inside and out. She loved life. She was a nurse, a hairstylist and an avid reader. She loved puzzles, game nights and spending all the time she could with family. She loved to travel, especially if it involved sunny weather and a beach. She was with the love of her life for 4 years, her soulmate. They were planning a future together. We will never forget her beautiful smile, her laugh and her competitive spirit on game nights!

Ashley cared about people, especially the elderly. Ashley never hesitated to sign up as an organ donor at age 16 and we knew that she would want to make sure her death could result in helping others. We were moved when over 100 people lined up for the Hero Walk to honor Ashley.  We know that Ashley’s donations impacted the lives of 3 people and possibly many more.

Losing Ashley was devastating and we continue to grieve losing her, but we know she lives on in our hearts. Thank you Ashley for positively impacting lives even after death.  We will always love you and we will never forget you.
