Artrika, a truly loving and beautiful person quit her corporate job in India and moved to New York on realizing her passion for acting. She was studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and was enjoying it thoroughly. She also got a chance to be a part of one of the off-Broadway shows and was extremely happy living her dream thus. She was a people's person to the core and would always be surrounded by friends. She valued human relations the most and invested deeply in all her friendships. Bust destiny had other plans for her and she was taken away instantly by rupture of her brain aneurysm just two weeks before her 24th birthday.
Since she was so young and healthy, I, her mother decided to donate her organs as I felt this would be the best homage to such a spirited soul. She lived for others and did the same in death. I am grateful to the team of doctors who attended to Artrika Pachori in Brooklyn hospital and extended all their support in taking her journey forward by giving life to three patients in the same hospital. May they always live in joy and spread joy around!
