As soon as my son Aric was old enough to get a drivers license he checked that box on the DMV form to be an organ donor. Aric was always a loving, patriotic American and chose to serve his country. He joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after high school graduation. He served two deployments to Iraq. I miss my son and am so grateful that through his generosity he lives on. It makes the loss a tiny bit easier to bear.
