We have decided to carry on Andrew’s legacy by bringing awareness to the importance of organ and tissue donation. In 2018, we received a phone call that changed our lives forever. Andrew had been in a tragic car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. He was sent to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. After a couple of long days, we were told that his brain injury was too severe. Andrew was a very caring person, always wanted to help people. Organ donation was the only way we knew how to honor him. The staff of DHMC and NEDS were amazing and took very good care of our Andrew and our family. Through Andrew’s gift of donation, he has saved MANY lives. We have already heard from many of his organ recipients, and they are doing well. We are so grateful that he has been able to save so many lives and live on in other people.

Andrew Charles was born on March 25th, 1999. He grew up in Dover, NH. He was an amazing, funny, young man that LOVED being outside, especially cutting wood and fishing. He loved his family and friends. He is missed and loved by so many people!
