Andrew was 36 years old when he passed away. He had chosen to be a donor by saying “yes” at the DMV. He was able to save 4 lives with the gifts of his heart, liver and both kidneys. He also gave the gift of sight to 2 people and his tissue benefited over 200 people throughout the United States and 3 other countries. During his life he enjoyed outdoor activities including dirt bike riding, skateboarding, baseball, golf and his last favorite outdoor activity was fly fishing. Andrew had a very kind and soft heart and loved his family, he is greatly missed by his family and friends. We are proud of his choice to be a donor and grateful that the lives he saved and improved have given us something positive to focus on despite immense grief. A part of him lives on in others and we now have the mission of spreading the word of the importance of organ donation while honoring his legacy.
