Adam was a husband, a father, and a first responder. Adam loved watching sports and was a huge Maryland Terps fan. He was proud of many accomplishments in his life, but the one that he was most proud of was our son (Aiden). Ever since Adam was a young child, he always wanted to be a firefighter, so he started volunteering at the age of 16 and eventually became a career firefighter. Adam dedicated his life to saving the lives of many strangers throughout his career. When it came time to make a decision about organ donation, it was an easy decision to make. It made so much sense considering that Adam would always be the first one to help anyone who needed it. Though I was truly devastated by Adam’s death, I was overcome with pride that Adam was able to be an organ and tissue donor and was able to give the gift of life to so many people. I miss Adam so very much, but I am comforted by the fact that he lives on through others by being an organ and tissue donor. I will forever be thankful for everyone at Infinite Legacy for the support they have given me during a tough time.
