Nicholas Daniel Rios was born on October 12, 2000. Sadly, on December 3, 2025, he was was shot by a road-raged stranger while driving to work. Devastatingly, Nicholas succumbed to his injuries and passed on December 7th, 2025.
Nicholas was known for his firecracker spark, big heart, and unwavering desire to help anyone in need — a spirit that continued even in his final moments.
In keeping with the way he lived, Nicholas chose to Share Hope by offering the gift of life, by being an organ donor. Through this final act of strength and compassion, he has turned the terrible tragedy that took his life into a moment of immense pride & beauty for his parents, siblings, family, friends and the recipients who now have the chance to see another sunrise, to embrace their families, and to continue their stories. This extraordinary selflessness truly reflects the heart of who Nicholas was.
We are honored and profoundly proud of everything Nicholas accomplished both in life and after.
