Kaitlyn Marie was only 11 years old, but she lived her life with a spirit far bigger than her years. She was spunky, cheerful, and full of energy—always outgoing and never afraid to be herself. Kaitlyn had a way of lighting up every room she walked into and bringing smiles to everyone around her.
She had a passion for competitive cheerleading and loved the excitement, teamwork, and challenge it brought. When she wasn’t cheering, you could find her outside, soaking up every moment—she truly loved everything about being outdoors. Summers at the Jersey Shore were especially special to her, where she made memories filled with laughter, sunshine, and the people she loved most.
Losing Kaitlyn has left an emptiness in our hearts that words can’t fully express. In the midst of that heartbreak, we chose to donate her heart, liver, and both of her kidneys so that others could have a second chance at life.
It brings us comfort to know that Kaitlyn’s heart is still beating, her strength is still living on, and her vibrant spirit continues in the lives of others. Even in her passing, she gave the most selfless and powerful gift.
Kaitlyn was our hero. Through her, three lives were forever changed, and her legacy of love, energy, and joy will continue to shine in ways we may never fully see—but will always feel.
