My youngest son Brian lived with a big heart, a big laugh, and a zest for life that made every day feel a little brighter. He loved his family with everything he had, and he showed it in the simplest, most joyful ways — reading bedtime stories, dancing in the living room, filling the house with music, and turning ordinary moments into memories his children will carry forever. His humor was quick, playful, and often exactly what someone needed to feel lighter. If you were in Brian’s circle, you were family, and if you were family, you were loved deeply.
He wasn’t perfect — and he never pretended to be. What made Brian special was that he was always his authentic self. Honest, funny, warm, and full of heart. He lived boldly, loved fiercely, and embraced life with a spirit that was unmistakably his.
Even in his passing, Brian’s generosity didn’t stop. Through the donation of his kidneys, he gave two people the chance to keep living their own stories. His life continues in the laughter he created, in the love he gave so freely, and in the lives he helped save. Brian’s legacy is one of humor, heart, and a life lived with joy — and that legacy will continue to shine in all of us who loved him.
