My sweet husband, Virgil, was a very quiet and kind man– very thoughtful and intentional about his choices. His primary love language was “acts of service”. He was a man with a strong Catholic faith who never wavered in his love for God, reminding me several times during this journey, “don’t be mad at God if I ‘kick the bucket’ “. Virgil lived a simple life placing God at the center which enabled him to love us all so perfectly, and I pray that his final gift of love brought him the peace and comfort he deserved. Virgil became an answered prayer of mine on July 7, 2004, and I’m honored that he has been prayers answered for others when I had to give this precious gift back to God on March 26, 2026.
