My daughter loved helping people and animals her whole life. She went out of her way if she saw a person or animal in need, and either she’d help, or find someone who could. She loved music, both singing and playing, and could play multiple instruments; but the tenor sax was her love. Just a few days before I got the call that would change my life forever, we were planning for her to come visit me. Then, came the call no parent should ever have to receive, and my world has never been the same. I got to spend 2 days with her at the hospital while they located recipients, and it was the hardest 2 days of my life.
I only pray that the essence of who my daughter was, and the love she had for everyone is now part of the 2 women who got her organs, and that her love and light are still in this world.
