Leah Grace was just 22 when hit in a crosswalk at her University by a distracted driver. This tragedy lead to Alabama’s new Distracted Driving Law. Leah (along with 2 others) is memorialized in this law. This ambitious young lady accomplished more in her 22 years than most do in a long lifetime. She was an over-achiever & so talented. She mastered many musical instruments; she also had a very unique singing voice ranging from soprano to tenor. She could sing anything from gospel, contemporary & even the blues. Leah was a “Jack of all trades”: band, soft ball, archery, guns, helping on the family farm, upkeep of her vehicle, won several pageants. She had no problem transitioning from a boot-weaing tomboy in pigtails to a pageant queen with ease, while maintaining her humbleness. Leah was well known for her kindness & always willing to help anyone in need.
