In Lindsay’s words…..

Lindsay’s Legacy

When asked this question it really made me think about the legacy I want to leave and then the legacy I am actually leaving. It really made me question if I am doing all the things that I need to do in order to leave a legacy that I am and will be proud of!

When a student talks about Mrs. Bravo or Mrs. Bravo’s classroom, I want them to remember a teacher and classroom that made them feel comfortable, loved and helped them to reach their full potential. I want them to remember that even though Math might have been hard for them it was always fun in Mrs. Bravo’s class. I also hope all my students feel that I am doing everything in my power to help them succeed. I want any student in my class to enjoy any subject I am teaching because I want them to see the enthusiasm and passion I have for that skill. I hope I help all my students develop a passion for learning.

I know that everyday when I come into my classroom I have the power to decide how our day will go. If I come in everyday with a positive attitude then my students will have a positive attitude. I want to treat all my students the way they should treat others. I think the relationship I build with my students is the most important part of my legacy. If I do not know my students then how can I even begin to reach them?

And not to mention the legacy she left with her true friends and family.
