My hero has been shared with others and became their hero. I am thankful for a mom that was always there for me and made sure I knew how loved I am. I still can’t believe my best friend isn’t here with me but I find comfort in knowing that parts of her still live on and she is still saving lives in death just like she did as a neonatal ICU nurse.
