My mom is an amazing woman. I use current tense because her spirit lives on in my daughter and in me. My dad also has wonderful stories he shares all the time, even though she has been gone now for 9 years. She suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm and passed within just six hours. She was able to donate her liver and both corneas. Her selfless giving inspired me to become a living liver donor. She would give anything she had to a complete stranger. Imagine how giving she was as a wife, mom and nanny.
