My daughter Amber Carrete donated almost all of her liver to save my wife her mother and it worked and she got through the transplant. They were both healthy and made it. However, this was at the height of Covid November 2020 went after 10 days of being in the hospital my daughter and my wife both got sick, my wife was not strong enough to continue on if she was already compromised from the transplant surgery so getting Covid on top of that she was just too weak, but she had made strides in the 10 days after my daughter gave her her liver. everything changed her color, her spirit , her everything she was on the road to recovery until they both got sick and unfortunately Covid took my wife and my daughter‘s mother away after what was supposed to have been the biggest blessing in the biggest tragedy. I am very proud of my daughter for donating life to her mother , and she will have the peace of knowing she did everything possible that she could save her but other plans for her.
