My son Stephen ( his friends called him Steve-O) suffered an aneurysm while enjoying a weekend with friends and his girlfriend riding ATV’s last summer. He and his girlfriend were on their way back to camp when it happened. They went over a cliff. His girlfriend only suffered a couple cuts. Stephen suffered multiple injuries but nothing life threatening except for the aneurysm. It was non-operable. He chose to be an organ donor on his drivers license. It was no surprise. He was always helping others. So this was his final way to do that. He was the best son we could ask for. He was smart, funny, adventurous, fearless, compassionate, a super hard worker and partied even harder. He lived more life in his 30 years as most people do in 80. We were and are so proud of him. He was able to save 4 lives with his heart, kidneys and liver. He also donated tissue and his pancreas for research. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, friend and daddy to his dog Chevy. We will miss him terribly.
