I have been blessed to be able to have been a recipient for both tissue and bone on two separate occasions from two different donors. Though I may not know the names of my donors, I will forever be greatful for them and their families. They are my heros. Through their gift of donation, I have become a mother and nurse, both things that may not have been possible without my donors. Even though there is no way I can repay the gift I have received, I am determined to live each day to the fullest and hope that I am able to impact someone else's life for good, even just a little.
