Maggie was an amazing little girl! Sassy but sweet, girly but loved to play in the dirt and she would tell us “it’s not ewww! It’s cute! It’s my best friend.” When she would be holding a slug or a snail up for us to see. A month after her 3rd birthday Maggie had an accident and after a few days, was declared brain dead. One of our biggest prayers besides healing for our girl was that we would be able to donate her organs to help others, and by God’s grace, He answered even after Doctors had told us she probably wouldn’t be able to! Our baby girl donated both kidneys and her whole heart! Other organs, including her lungs, went to research so that maybe one day they’ll be able to transplant and treat early stages of pneumonia. We praise God for our little girl, for her life, and for her death being able to give the gift of life to others!
