My son, Mario, was 33 years old when he passed away. He was my oldest son. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and uncle. His younger brother passed away 1 1/2 yrs before him and he became a father figure to his nieces which at the time of his brother’s passing was only 6 months old and the other was 1 month in her mom’s belly. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone who was in need. He knew many people from different parts of town. He had a beautiful smile and blended in with any type of people. He often helped our neighbors who needed help carrying groceries & laundry up the stairs without being asked. That’s who Mario was. He recently became a donor when renewing his State ID because I was a donor. He never held a grudge with anyone. He forgave easily. He was very strong and healthy. He participated in all the sports the school had to offer and he was good at them all. He ran track effortlessly. I miss him so much.
I am proud of him for being a donor. He lives on through his donor recipients. And that you cannot put a price tag on.
