Summer of 2018, I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. I was 36 years old and seemingly in good health, but that all changed quickly. That day I was also told that I needed a lifesaving liver transplant. On December 8, 2018, my life was saved by a hero I’ll never be able to meet but who will forever be my angel. Words cannot express my gratitude to my hero and to my hero’s family.
