My mom wasn’t one to ever meet a stranger. I remember my dad just sitting in the car or on the bench waiting for her in the store as she talked to someone about her granddaughter or prayed for a total stranger. Mom was such a giving person, even in death she gave life. She was able to give her liver and both corneas after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2016. In just six short hours, we lost a mom, wife of 46 years and a grandmother who lives on in others because of her generous nature and loving spirit. I was blessed to have her as my mom and will do my best to share with others as she so selflessly did.
