Cindy's Six
In the military, “got your six” means “I’ve got your back.” If you picture yourself at the center of a clock face, the area directly in front of you is twelve o’clock. Six o’clock is what lies behind you. So, when someone tells you that they’ve “got your six,” it means they’re watching your back. By extension, that person expects you to have their back as well. Cindy Santella Mahoney saved Six lives in her death, meaning she lives on Six times in other, teaching her new physical bodies to be kind and generous souls, because to know Cindy was to know how powerful love could be, and we believe the world could always use more of that kind of relentless compassion.
